Wikipedia Workshop for Kannada Science Writers

The Centre for Internet and Society in partnership with Wikimedia Chapter India and KRVP, Bangalore, is organizing a workshop for Kannada science writers at Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishath Conference Hall in Banashankari, Bangalore on March 17, 2013. The one day workshop shall begin at 10 a.m. in the morning and will conclude at 5.00 p.m. in the evening. Dr. U.B. Pavanaja will be participating in the event.

Pavan Santhosh said that Telugu Wikipedians are creating a knowledge revolution in Telugu. On Sunday, December 12, 2016, in Golden Threshold, Abids, Telugu Wikipedians celebrated Telugu Wikipedia day. Telugu Wikipedians Pranay Raj and Meena Gayathri who successfully completed 100 Wikidays challenge successfully were given mementos and cut a cake on this occassion.

WikiSym + OpenSym took place in Hong Kong on August 5-7, 2013. The event emphasized the open collaboration aspect of WikiSym both for researchers as well as practitioners.
