 asan\, PhD will be the speaker for the August #FirstFriday event at th
 e CIS office in Delhi. Dr. Ilavarasan is an Associate Professor at the
  Department of Management Studies in the Indian Institute of Technolog
 y Delhi. Using a large scale demand side research undertaken at Bharat
 Net pilot sites\, Dr. Ilavarasan will discuss the status of broadband 
 access in India. He shall highlight the efforts being made by the gove
 rnment and challenges in achieving the desired developmental outcomes.
