Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre (APTDC) of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), organized one day ‘Sensitization Seminar on IPR for Electronics and ICT Sectors’ with the theme ‘Role of IP as a Strategic and Financial tool in the Global Market’ on 21 Apr 2016 at Visakhapatnam.

The Seminar provided a great platform for Entrepreneurs, Managers/Executives and Professionals in various functional areas such as Research and Development, Design, marketing, brand management, Directors of organizations, Legal and IP departments who seek to integrate IP strategy into the Business Management, to learn the basics of IPR and various laws in the major jurisdictions worldwide in Electronics & ICT Sectors, to discuss on the challenges & emerging trends for obtaining the protection, and how one can use IP rights as strategic and business tool towards the economic growth of the organization.
