This panel will explore the emerging trends in geo-politics and the implications thereof on the liberal international order. It will explore the rise of China, in particular the ambitious Belt & Road Initiative and in its strategic and economic impact on Asia. It will discuss the role of the U.S. and Europe in what is now referred to as the Asian century. Lastly, it will discuss India’s role as a liberal actor in a rapidly changing global order.
